The much anticipated Indian Premier League final is all set to be held on May 29, Sunday, at Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangalore. The 51 days evening soap opera started with the stir of water drought in Maharashtra due to sweltering heat that forced two IPL franchises of the state to play matches in Vizag. Both Mumbai Indians and Pune Supergiants had to leave the state as High Court ruled that one drop of water would not be used for the ground management.
The tournament initially failed to capture the imagination of fans as they were jaded by the overdose of T20 cricket. In the second phase as Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and David Warner started producing some of the best innings in the history of IPL, fans have gone back to the stadium. Unlike other seasons of IPL, this season was quite competitive as among the eight teams, six teams were in the contention for playoff berth till the end. RCB’s inspirational rise from 7th position to 2nd position and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s outstanding bowling department made this IPL a remarkable one.
Now as the time of final comes people are betting for Royal Challengers Bangalore as they have a very strong batting line up in comparison to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). But Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the most balanced team in the tournament. They defeated Gujarat lions in the second qualifier to advance to the final of super Sunday.
