When MS Dhoni started his career with a duck on debut against Bangladesh, few people would have expected him to become one of  the most successful skippers of the world.

Dhoni has won almost everything there is to win as a captain starting from World T20 to 50-overs World Cup to Champions Trophy in England. He also led India to the top of rankings in every format of the game. While he has taken retirement from the longest format of the game, he is still going strong in the limited-overs format. Currently, captain cool is on a break after  leading a young Indian side to a series win against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe last month. MS Dhoni’s next assignment will commence in October with New Zealand’s visit to India for a five-match ODI series.
