Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for most 50+ scores in Tests (119) which includes 68 half-centuries and 51 centuries. While with 76 50+ scores Cook is far away from the most 50+ scores, he is close to the fifties with 48 half-centuries. Looking at his form it is not impossible for him to surpass this record of Sachin Tendulkar.
