Most of us would have expected this legend to be at the top spot in terms of captaincy but he has missed out on this occasion. India’s best leader so far got the number 3 spot in the IPL successful captains list as he has the winning percentage of 58.45. His incredible record in the IPL has given him two consecutive titles in 2010 and 2011.
It would not be wrong if we say that this man is the reason behind Jadeja and Ashwin’s success. He has also nurtured the likes of Murali Vijay, Mohit Sharma, and many other big players. Dhoni’s 2016 edition as a skipper with Rising Pune Supergiants didn’t go well but this would not matter much in front of his ample amount of contribution as a captain.
