You must be surprised after seeing this! But it’s a truth that the Indian legend and arguably the best batsman of the world is at the top in terms of most successful captains so far in the IPL. Sachin Tendulkar has the winning percentage of 58.82 which is better than any other captain as of now. He might have missed a title in 2010 but his record was exceptional. He led his team to the final of the tournament where they failed to beat Chennai. Tendulkar was the highest run-scorer in that edition with 618 runs at an average of 47.53 which earned him the player of the series award. He was also named as the best captain in the 2010 IPL awards.
Sachin Tendulkar memorable stint as a captain continued in 2011 too as he took his team to the playoffs. Later on, he gave up the captaincy and started playing as a batsman and mentor of the team.
