2) Padmakar Shivalkar
The legend of Indian domestic cricket is another cricketer who born in the wrong era. He has 589 wickets to his name at a superb average of 19.69. Shivalkar could have been batter spinner than who have played for India.
He was arguably best-left arm orthodox spinner who never sport the Indian jersey. Every captain in the world would like to keep him in their rank. Being an orthodox finger spinner, he turned it made himself as protégée whenever he gave it a real tweak.
But he was born in an era when spinners like Bedi, Venkataraghavan, Prasanna and Chandrasekhar were born, it is not a surprise that in the middle of a great spin quartet of India Padmakar Shivalkar hardly had a chance to play for India.
