Rising Pune Supergiants vs Kings XI Punjab (2016)
Half-centuries from Murali Vijay and Gurkeerat Singh took the Kings to a respectable score of 172 in the first innings.
A sedate batting effort from the Supergiants saw the team needing 23 runs of the final over. Axar Patel, a left-arm spinner was given the ball and it turned out to be a mistake.
After declining a single of the third ball of the over, former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni needed 16 off the last three and decided to go 4,6,6 off the last three balls to complete a miraculous victory.
Patel will be kicking himself but Dhoni won the MOTM award for his unbeaten 64 of just 32 balls.
