Bennett starred for New Zealand in the 2006 U-19 World Cup with 14 wickets in only 6 matches and had an economy of just above three. Ten years down the line the pacer is still trying to get a foothold in international cricket. Hamish Bennett made a promising start to his career with 23 wickets in his first 14 matches at an average of just over 20. However, injury has been his biggest nemesis. With chances being limted for him, it seems one more talented player has failed to live up to the expectations.
