Lords Cricket Ground is the Mecca of cricket. The first international match was played between England and Australia in 1884 and still playing matches at the famous ground. This iconic stadium in England was established in 1814.The venue has held 132 test matches, 57 One day internationals and 8 T20 international matches. Lords Cricket Ground has held many great matches in the past like the 1983 World Cup, 2002 Natwest Series and many more memorable matches. A total of 197 matches have been held on this ground. The floodlights were installed in 2009. It is one of the best grounds to play cricket in the world which makes a cricketer feel that they want to be a part of the venue. In 2014, it marked the 200th anniversary of the ground. The last international match was held between Sri Lanka and England from 9th-13th June.
