Sanju Samson is a 24-year-old right-handed batsman who represents Kerala in domestic circuit and Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He has time and again showed his potential in the big stages mainly in the IPL.

The young wicket-keeper batsman made his first-class debut in 2013. Then he made his international debut by playing T20 game against Zimbabwe in 2015. Samson had a poor outing and since then, the selectors have not considered him for the India team.

Now with World T20 looming ahead, India will need back up wicket-keepers if Rishabh Pant fails to step-up. Sanju may be a good candidate as he is also young who can serve the Men in Blues for long.
