With the World Cup 2015 just 24 days away, there are some players in the World who can already stake claim at being the highest run-scorers in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2015.

So, here we look at the 5 batsmen who can become the Highest run-scorers in ICC World Cup 2015.

1. AB de Villiers (South Africa) –

He is one the best, if not the best, batsman in the world today. He can make the bowler think multiple probabilities with his shot making and tear any bowling attack apart on his day. Few days back he broke the record of scoring the Fastest hundred in One-day International cricket. He is the number one batsmen in the ODI rankings at the moment.

In the World Cup 2015, he will be an important member for the South African team. Being the captain of the team his role becomes even more important.

2. Virat Kohli (India) –

Virat Kohli is the main pillar for the Indian team at number 3. His form in the Test-series against Australia was great as he scored 692 runs which showed the quality of the man. His ability to chase huge scores makes him a special batsman. His average as a batsman while chasing is exceptional.
