Arguably, he was the find of the season, which is a special feat for someone who didn’t bowl a single over in the last campaign. The younger of the Chahar cousins ended with the title.
Only twice did Chahar concede more than eight per over, which is truly exceptional for someone who plays half his games at the run-fest that is the Wankhede Stadium. Chahar got the exceptional talent and he already received a call-up for the tour to West Indies.
In IPL he has played 10 matches, picking 11 wickets. He averages 20.91 per wicket and the best part is that he bowls at less than 7 runs per over which is a magnificent effort. Rahul Chahar got the unique technique of bowling diagonal as well.
