The Indian skipper has been a phenomenal batsman across all three formats and is the only player in world cricket to average over 50 in all three formats of the game. He is one of the fittest cricketers around and is known to put a huge price tag for his wicket. His Test career didn’t start off well, and that is the reason behind his average hovering around the 50 mark despite a sensational run in the past few years.

During this phase, Kohli played 62 Tests and scored 4762 runs at an average of 50.12. It was the Indian skipper whose sensational century in the 1st Test of the ongoing series against Sri Lanka made the difference between a tame draw and a dramatic final day.
