Rahul Dravid

rahul dravid

Rahul Dravid was one of the players who never got the credit of being a hard hitter of the side. Though he smashed bowlers on numerous occasions in limited overs format including IPL, he still found his name in the books as a Test specialist till the last ball of his career.

Once Navjot Singh Sidhu said, “Dravid would walk on a broken glass if his team asked him to.” In 2011, he did the same against England when the team was in need of some quick runs in a T20I. He smashed three big sixes off Samit Patel that totally turned the run rate of the team. Every fan in the stands was up to their feet when ‘The Wall stands tall.’ This was Dravid’s only T20I in which he proved that he should be remarked as a player who could play every format of the game.
