2. KL Rahul:
There is no denying for the fact that KL Rahul has been the talented player. But, the lack of application from the youngster is causing a big pain for the Indian cricket team. The flamboyant batsman was given enough chances and run in the team but never had a good run to stabilise his place in the side.
He was decent in the T20I format but he couldn’t repeat the same in the ODI format. Rahul was given a chance in the solitary game but he couldn’t make the most of the opportunity. However, he got the backing from the head coach and the skipper.
With no potential competitor for KL Rahul, he might get the nod. But, if selectors like to take any gamble after the performances in IPL, KL Rahul would lose his place for sure.
