A Delhi cricketer is beaten to death

In the heart of the India’s capital city, New Delhi an amateur cricketer was beaten to death on July 20. The Delhi cantonment boy had a brawl with a gang on July 12 who threatened to kill him.
On 17 July he went to play a local match where the gang came. The unanimous boy tried to escape but the gang got him in a bush. They beat him with hockey sticks, stone and iron rod.
It was known that the gang often target young people and kill them, but Delhi police yet to take any action against them.
The criminal activities have become very common in Delhi. As the case filed Delhi police so far arrested only three accused. But the relative of the deceased boy blocked the road and protested against police. They said there were at least 8 to 10 criminal who were involved in beating the boy.
In the history of local cricket, on-field clashes are very common. However, it is yet to know why the boy was beaten by the gang.
Before the boy left his home he promised mother to return soon from the ground.
Delhi has become a free city for the criminals who roam around the capital without any fear as Delhi police hardly take action against them.
The young 20-year-old boy was about to seat in his higher secondary examination this year.
People of his locality are very sad as their favourite son has passed away.
