Cricket is a game in which almost everything is possible, 200 in an ODI people thought was impossible and can never be done, but it happened and we even saw a 250 in an ODI. No one would have thought about making a 200 in a T20 game. Well a 42 year old Australian has scored a double hundred in a T20 game.
Sean Huddle a 42 year old Australian scored a double hundred for his team in a C Grade T20 match played at Alica Springs, Australia. Incidentally Huddle was making his comeback into the team and this was his first match after coming back into the team. Playing for Federal Demons Huddle scored 202 from just 70 balls against the Pro Build Rovers. He also remained not out after his magnificent innings.
In his innings of 202 from 70 balls, he smashed 17 fours and 20 sixes. Huddle is known for his ability to score big and has already score more than 150 twice in T20 format of the game, before in B grade cricket. Demons comfortably won the match after scoring 298/5 in their quota of 20 overs.
In an interview to NT news after the match, he said, I will take it every day of the week. I have done a lot of hard work in cricket, I have already taken hat-tricks and won premierships but as a personal milestone making 200 is right up with all of those achievements.”
