Ban of one game on Kagiso Rabada has received a mixed response as few former cricketers are batting for it whereas others have opposed it. The majority of the fans though are criticising the decision that how can a player get banned after his abuse was caught by the stump cam?
The matter was discussed till the last day of the Test and Michael Vaughan, the former England skipper, took on social media to express his disappointment as he wrote –
Rababa Suspended for 1 match for a couple of Words ….. Give me a break … what about the continuous slow over rates @icc !????????

Aakash Chopra jumped in the matter and tried to teach Vaughan that the bowler has been banned as per the rules. Vaughan was though quick to reply and his surprising reply just brought an end to the matter to which Chopra didn’t reply as he wrote –
Incorrect. He accumulated four demerit points over a period of time. Same way SL captain got suspended for slow over Rate in CT. https://t.co/ErWei8D6EO

The ban on Rabada has divided cricket fraternity into two groups where one group is supporting the ban on Rabada whereas the second one has opposed this move of ICC.
South Africa will desperately miss the services of Rabada, especially after the defeat in the first Test at Lord’s where the visiting side registered their first ever defeat after their readmission. Rabada bowled well in the game taking six wickets, especially against Ben Stokes whom he dismissed twice. Though there are resources in Africa’s camp; other players have big boots to fill.
The second Test of the four-match series kicks off on July 14 at Trent Bridge. England leads the series by a margin of 1-0.
