Aakash Chopra: Mitchell Starc Can Become Most Expensive IPL Buy Ever

Further, then 43-year-old commentator said that Afghanistan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who was released by KXIP on Wednesday can fetch somewhere around Rs 7 to 8 crore. Jason Roy, part of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2020, can go for Rs 4-6 crore according to the cricketer-turned-commentator.

Green for 5-6 Crore
Starc to become the most expensive IPL buy ever.

Released Australia cricketers Glenn Maxwell who didn’t perform up to expectations for KXIP in IPL 2020 and pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile can bag “decent contracts”, Aakash Chopra said.
Mitchell Starc played the IPL for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2014 and 2015. While the left-arm fast bowler bagged 14 wickets in IPL 2014, he also collected 20 wickets in IPL 2015. After playing 27 IPL matches, Mitchell Starc took 34 wickets. He didn’t feature in IPL 2016-2020 for various reasons.
Aakash Chopra: Kyle Jamieson And Cameron Green Can Be Bought For 5 Crore And Above
The former Delhi batsman also expressed a lot of confidence in IPL future of Australia all-rounder Cameron Green and New Zealand’s 6 feet seven-inch tall pacer Kyle Jamieson.
“Jamieson to receive solid interest. 5-7 crore. Green for 5-6 crore,” Aakash Chopra predicted.
It would be interesting to see how many of Aakash Chopra’s prediction will turn out to be right when the auctions are held next month.
