Former England fast-bowler Bob Willis has said that South African ODI captain AB De Villiers is a better batsman than Sir Don Bradman (atleast according to him).

During an interview with Sky Sports, Willis was quoted saying:

“I’ve been saying for the last 30 years that Viv Richards has to be the best batsman of all time – even better than Sir Don Bradman in my book – but I’m going to have to reassess because this guy is something extraordinary.”

Willis, who took 325 wickets for England in 90 Tests, came to this conclusion after Mr. 360 scored the fastest hundred in ODIs in 31 balls against the Jason Holder lead West Indies at Johannesburg on January 18th. He broke a total of five records including the best strike rate by a batsman in an ODI (with min. 100 runs). He scored 149 off just 44 balls. Throughout the match, there were a total of 12 records broken

“The improvisation, the strength, the intelligence – knowing exactly where every fielder is and where the gaps are – were unbelievable,” he added.
