- 149 off 44 balls – The Fast ODI Hundred against Windies:

On January 18, 2015, de Villiers bulldozed the bowling line-up of Jason Holder-led Windies side when he registered a fastest 31-ball ODI hundred, in the second match at Johannesburg.
While donning the pink jersey – to raise funds for the breast care awareness, de Villiers surpassed New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson’s 36-ball hundred which the latter had registered against the same opposition in 2014 at Queenstown.
Batting first, the Proteas posted 439 for two in 50 overs, as ruthless de Villiers smashed 44-ball 149 which further saw him crunching 16 maximums and nine boundaries and helped his side to win the game by 148, as the Pretoria born has been the sole difference.
