JP Duminy will lead the SA Invitation XI against Bangladesh, before the start of the limited-overs series between the two teams. The side also includes AB de Villiers, who recently stepped down as the captain of South Africa ODI team.

The 12-member squad also includes Aiden Markram, who made his Test debut in the first Test. He played an innings of 97 in the first innings, missing a debut ton by just three runs. Before the Test start of the series, Markram also led SA XI side against Bangladesh in a three-day fixture.

The selectors also added Keshav Maharaj to the side, who made his ODI debut against England early this year. He was also in the squad for the ICC Champions Trophy, but the presence of Imran Tahir meant that he warmed the bench.

He had recently impressed with his wicket-taking abilities in Test cricket, and there can be a case when he might get awarded with a place in the playing XI soon if skipper Faf du Plessis decides to go with two spinners in the game.

The practice match between Bangladesh and SA Invitation XI is scheduled at Bloemfontein Mangaung Oval on October 12.

Meanwhile, South Africa is all set to miss out on the services of experienced bowler Morne More for the rest of series, as he has been ruled out for a four to six weeks due to a side strain. The tall bowler left the field on the fourth day in the sixth over of the first Test and did not return to the field again. South Africa won the first Test by a margin of 333 runs.
