Adam Gilchrist Wishes Preity Zinta’s KXIP Good Luck Prior to IPL Kick Off
Former Kings XI Punjab captain, Adam Gilchrist, wished all the luck to his old-franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and also their owner, Preity Zinta, prior to the start of the eleventh edition of IPL.
The Kings XI are gearing up to host Delhi Daredevils on Sunday (April 8), in a day game at Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium at Mohali.
This time around, the sides came up with a powerful-yet-balanced squad, in pursuit of their first silverware of the professional domestic Twenty20 league.
The strength of the side is the number of Indian internationals present in the squad when it comes to the batting department. Also, they have an enviable foreign contingency in their rosters.
Looking at the KXIP side on paper, one has to say that this is the year the Mohali-based outfit will finally get the monkey off their back and clinch the trophy.
The KXIP side boasts depth, variation, balance and X-factor in their lineup.
The likes of Axar Patel, KL Rahul, Yuvraj Singh, captain Ashwin, and triple centurion Karun Nair. Subsequently, they form the spine of the team.
Further, the inform Mayank Aggarwal, the experience of Manoj Tiwary, and raw pace of Ankit Singh Rajpoot. They are some of the salient features of the team.
It is only fair to say that KXIP has the strongest Indian lineup. It would be a force to reckon with this season. However, the team can use only four overseas players at a time.
“All the best @realpreityzinta to you and your team. In fact best wishes to all @VIVOIPL_2018 teams for another entertaining season,” tweeted Adam Gilchrist.
