The Australian cricket team is currently in India preparing themselves for a limited overs series against the home team comprising of 5 ODI’s and 3 T20I’s scheduled to start tomorrow. It will be a mouth-watering on our hands, and though the hosts are clear favourites given their exceptional run across formats, it will be a competitive series as there are some real match winners in both the teams who can change the complexion of the match in no time.
The 1st of the five-match series will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, and the stadium is expected to be jam-packed given it’s a holiday. Meanwhile, the visitors were sweating it out in the nets. The Aussie players love playing around and playing tricks on their teammates.
On one such occasion, Adam Zampa was at the receiving end when he fell awkwardly on his follow through in the nets while the Aussies were recording his bowling. It was indeed a funny sight and Zampa’s teammate Ashton Agar laughed at the sight and said: “That’s in the film too.” It isn’t the first time that Zampa has been involved in something rather funny and hilarious as in the IPL a conversation between him and his girlfriend went viral where they were seen exchanging Hindi explicit apparently without knowing the actual meaning of it.

The leggie will be a vital member of the Australian team especially because he has some genuine match practice in India behind him and knows what to expect from this pitch and bowl accordingly. He has been in and out of the Australian team, but in his limited chances, Zampa has impressed one and all especially in the limited overs circuit.
Meanwhile many key Indian players won’t be part of the series. Two premier spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested yet again. Opener Shikhar Dhawan will also miss the first 3 ODI’s to be with his ill wife.
