Afghanistan’s cricketing sensation Rashid Khan was left blushing in front of thousands of spectators in the stadium and his own teammates when a female fan presented him a marriage proposal during a live game.
The incident happened during the recent Caribbean Premier League (CPL) fixture between Guyana Amazon Warriors and St. Lucia Stars.

A Love Story In The Making?
Rashid Khan hasn’t replied yet or has he? No one knows as of now. But, if he does agree, although he is just 18 years old (maybe he’s too young to marry in all sense), it will yet another classic case of fans getting hitched to their favorite sportsmen.
The most recent example is of Quinton de Kock and his wife Sasha Hurly. De Kock, who is easily the most talented youngster in the Proteas side met Sasha, a cheerleader, during a T20 game. The lady approached him as a fan seeking is an autograph. However, things took a romantic turn as De Kock was quickly smitten by Sasha.
The two got along really well soon understood they were made for each other. After dating for a brief while, the two finally married each other last year in September in the presence of his teammates and family members.
A Superstar In Making
Rashid Khan is definitely a superstar in the making. The leg spinner has impressed everyone with his bowling skills and currently is a product in the T20 arena. He gained limelight with his performances for Afghanistan after making his debut as a 17-year-old. Later, his promising talented made him the first Afghan cricketer to bag an IPL contract after Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him for the 10th season.
His value as a T20 cricketer went up a notch higher after his arrival in the CPL. He is currently the third highest wicket taker for Guyana in the ongoing season with 8 wickets in 7 matches.
