Ahead of quarter-finals of Ranji Trophy 2016/17, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar visited Mumbai’s Ranji camp to give them tips and provided last minute preparation notes to the team at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. In past, we have seen Sachin spending time along with his former domestic team, Mumbai, and again he marked his attendance in the camp, sharing his knowledge with the youngsters who are going in the knockouts against Hyderabad at Raipur to defend the Ranji Trophy Cup.

Tendulkar spent nearly two hours with the team and watched the proceedings closely. He also had a pep talk with the coach Chandrakant Pandit. In the end, he had a talk with the team members led by the skipper Aditya Tare.

Even at the start of the season, Sachin reached out to the players and had an interactive session with them before Mumbai played their first game. In fact, last year, he inaugurated the Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy camp. Tendulkar has been a regular visitor in Mumbai dressing room.

The defending champions will take on Hyderabad from December 23 at Raipur. However, they have already dealt with few blows as injury bug hit this team right after the end of league stages and they will miss out on services of Akhil Herwadkar and senior bowler Dhawal Kulkarni. Shardul Thakur though will return to the squad for the knockout game.
