Ahmed Shehzad Hits Back at Indian Cricketers for Slamming Shahid Afridi

Pakistan’s opening batsman, Ahmed Shehzad, came in support for his countryman Shahid Afridi. The 38-year-old star all-rounder Afridi has been recently slammed by Indian cricketers post his controversial tweet on Kashmir.

For those unaware of the recent developments, Pakistan and Indian cricketers currently have engaged in a war of Tweets due to the unfortunate incident which occurred in the southern part of Kashmir.

Looking at the recent killings in the politically-troubled region, Pakistan’s superstar cricketer, Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to accuse Indian army of their atrocities.

Also, Afridi appealed to the United Nations (UN) to look at the matter.

However, the PSL franchise Karachi Kings’ star, received a substantial amount of flak from the Indian cricketers who slammed Afridi for his view.

Not known for being best of friends with Afridi, Gautam Gambhir, mocked the Pakistani’s maturity, claiming that Afridi is celebrating a wicket off a no-ball.

Soon after, Shikhar Dhawan joined forces with the Delhiite to slam Afridi by asking him to keep his ideologies to himself.

Suresh Raina also entered the scene by indirectly asking Pakistan’s government. He suggested Pakistan to stop funding terrorism and engaging in proxy wars with India.

Looking at the severe backlash received by the Indian cricketing community, Ahmed Shahzad came in support of the veteran.

When this picture was being taken Lala insisted that the flag is held upright..as it should be. As neighbours v have rights toward each other n also responsibility 2 spread peace n love. It hurts me 2 c the way my Indian peers reacting to our national hero..totally not cool,” tweeted Ahmed Shahzad.
