Ahmed Shehzad gets angry during his marriage ceremony

This year is proving to be news-maker with many cricketers getting married or engaged. After Suresh Raina and Dinesh Karthik tied the knot earlier this year, Pakistan’s ace batsman Ahmed Shehzad followed their footsteps to get married. The ceremony was held on 19th of September.

The popular Pakistani opener opened the new innings of his life with his new partner Sana Murad after their ‘Nikaah’ ceremony took place. Rumors were doing the round about the batsman’s marriage till Najam Sethi confirmed the news by tweeting the marriage date.

Sana’s parents happen to be Ahmed’s family friends from a long time and the couple knew each other since the young age. As Ahmed’s quotes came, it suggested that the marriage was set up by his parents and after the bride and the groom liked each other, it turned out to be a good match.

It has also been revealed that the engagement had been done way before and that concluded into this happy marriage.

Everything so positive about the ceremony, but why did Shehzad get angry on that day then? Sources revealed that Shehzad reached the marriage hall with his teammate in the national side Shahid Afridi.

The ceremony was supposed to be a private affair but when the two dashing batsmen entered, they figured out that representatives from all the top most media houses in Pakistan despite the strict order.

Afridi expressed his anger blaming it upon the hotel authority entirely and demanded for instant removal of media from the place. Shehzad also looked angry throughout the whole event regarding the ignorance.

Adding salt to the wound, the lights of the hall went off during the ceremony increasing the heat even more. All this resulted in Ahmed Shehzad move out of the hotel as fast as he could after the ceremony. His newly wed wife Sana even requested him to slow down, but her request was turned down.

Shehzad also asked the photographers not to click photographs of him and Sana afterwards. Apart from these incidents, all the rituals of the marriage were peacefully completed. While Sana dazzled in a beautiful red traditional wear, Shehzad looked dashing in a golden sherwani. Afridi was seen adorning a black gorgeous traditional wear.

Ahmed also held a question and answer session with his followers over popular micro-blogging site twitter during and post the marriage where he interacted whole-heartedly and tried to answer his fans’ queries regarding this cheerful union.

Ahmed Shehzad, aged 23, is a right-handed Pakistani batsman who made his ODI debut in the national squad in the year 2009. He has ever since proved to be a potential batsman and became very popular due to the similarity in appearance with Indian test skipper Virat Kohli.
