Abey Kuruvilla played a total of 10 Tests and 25 ODIs for India. Former pacer picked up 25 wickets in Tests as well as in ODIs. On 27 September 2012, Kuruvilla was appointed as the national selector from the BCCI. Thus, he has known to the work of the selector.
