The suspicion was raised during the match between Victorians and the Khulna Tigers played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. The delivery with which he bagged the wicket if Ariful Haque raised suspicion and was reported by the on-field umpires.

“He [Al-Amin] was reported for only one delivery that seemed to be suspicious,” BPL’s technical committee head, Jalal Yunus, told reporters on Monday.

“The next step would be as per ICC’s rulings in these cases. Al-Amin’s bowling action will be reviewed after 14 days and if it is found to be faulty [after the assessment], then he has to go through the rehabilitation program to rectify [his action],” he said.

Amin will continue bowling unless his results are out and it is not the first time that the fast bowler has been cautioned for a suspect bowling action. He was first reported in the year 2014 but after undergoing a test at the ICC accredited centre in Chennai he was subsequently cleared by the governing body by the end of that year.
