One of the most star studded team in the IPL Mumbai Indians learnt a really bad injury to the New Zealand all rounder Cory Anderson as he was ruled out for the rest of the IPL due to a fractured finger.

However Anderson has now joined the Mumbai Indians team for a practice session and is declared fit to play against Delhi daredevils. Anderson who took part in an optional field in session flew back to New Zealand after learning about that injury to get an advice from his doctor about his situation and is now cleared to play in this season’s IPL.

A source from within the Mumbai franchise said that he went back to New Zealand to get a bit of a treatment done on his finger and that he is back now to play for the Mumbai Indians but not before he is completely declared fit to be a part of the team.

Anderson who helped the Mumbai Indians reach the play-offs in the previous season with a blistering knock played only a few times for the team this season before picking the injury. He is said to be back at practice steel ball in medium pace without putting in a lot of effort.

The Mumbai Indians who look to have found form just at the right time will be happy to have the all rounder back in the squad for the rest of the season.
