Anjali Tendulkar is upset over fun being made of her husband and Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar.
AIB member Tanmay Bhat has stirred up a controversy. A comedian took a dig at legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar in the video and has been receiving flak ever since.
@TendulkarAnjali Yes..true..Its shameful to insult two of the greatest icons of our country!! Shocked that someone can find humor in this 🙁

In the video titled Sachin v/s Lata Civil War, posted on his Facebook page, Tanmay took a dig at the two Bharat Ratna awardee. He said things to the effect of Lata Mangeshkar’s face looks like someone has kept her under water for eight days. He has also gone to the extent of addressing Mangeshkar directly while saying that Jon Snow died and so should she.
Tendulkar is worshiped as the God in India for his cricketing achievement and entertainment he gave to his die-hard fans and fans of cricket in general.
Tendulkar in his 25 years career scored more than 30000 runs and 100 hundred.
The mop up came after Lata Mangeshkar objected the comparison between Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, the new sensation of Indian cricket.
In India where Sachin is the God and cricket is the religion. It has captured the imagination of people among the current generation of people after Sachin started playing great cricket.
The great cricketer retired in 2012.
Now his fans have bashed Tanmay Bhatt as his comments are in bad taste.
“Bhaiya (brother) there’s a fine line between comedy and insult,” Vivek K. Singh said.
One of the blokes said for AIB members getting insulted is “bread and butter.”
“Problem is we encourage elements like Bhat by endorsing their brand of humour, which in any case is low on quality and high on insults. They don’t mind getting insulted themselves as that is their bread and butter, Ashok Rambhia said.
