Arafat Sunny In Trouble Again, Accused In Repression Case By Woman 1
Arafat Sunny and his mother have been accused in a repression case by a woman, who claims to be her wife.

Already under the hammer for unveiling sensitive images of his girlfriend on social media around ten days back, Bangladesh spinner Arafat Sunny has now been accused in a repression case by a 23-year-old woman, who claims to be his wife. Not only him, his mother has also been reported to have involved in the matter.

The case has, however, been filed against the mother-son duo under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act on Wednesday. After the case was taken into the court’s custody, Judge SM Rizanur Rahman of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-4 asked the officer-in-charge (OC) to submit a detailed report on the matter before commencing the investigation.

Nasrin Sultana, Arafat’s girlfriend filed a case against him on January 5, after the spinner allegedly blackmailed her for leaking private images on Facebook.

He was thus taken into charge under Information and Communication Act (ICT). While speaking to the police, Arafat admits nothing of that sought has happened and that the matter has been made up.

As he was kept in remand for one day on January 22, Sultana’s lawyer during the hearing did produce the documents of Sunny’s and Sultana’s marriage.
