Social media has become an integral part of a person’s life and is no different for cricketers who use it as a medium to connect with their fans and express their views and feelings. Cricketers use Twitter and Instagram to express their views on any mega events occurring in the world. What else could be as mega as the Ashes in the cricketing world? Cricketers from England and Australia look for dominance as claiming the Urn is their prime objective.
Hero of the 2013/14 Ashes series Mitchell Johnson who claimed 37 wickets in the last Ashes on Australian soil and single-handedly won the Ashes for the Aussies. Johnson scared the English batsmen with his fiery pace and his vintage moustache which he supported in the series. However, he retired after the 2015 cricket World Cup and is quite active on social media.
