Guy Lavender, MCC CEO said that these actions of the protestors have endangered ground staff workers and the people coming to watch the games, as the group disrupted many sporting events in the country including the games in Premier League.

“Their actions not only endanger themselves and those who work at the ground, but they have consistently shown complete disregard for the people who pay to attend events, not just here at Lord’s but around the country at other sporting venues,” Marylebone Cricket Club CEO said

The group says it is committed to ending its protests as soon as the government comes up with a solution regarding the issue related to the future of fossil fuels in the country.
