Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) star trio MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane and Ben Stokes had some fun time away from field taking a quiz related to fellow teammates. The quiz, organised by one the chief sponsors Castrol, had the cricketers guessing some trivial fact connected with some recent cricketing events involving the RPS team members.
The game progressed nicely as Dhoni, Stokes and Rahane took turns answering questions using face cut outs.
The first question was – Who once fractured his wrists by punching the dressing room locker, thus earning the name ‘Hurt Locker’?
Rahane guessed it wrong, Dhoni was confused between Dan Christian and Ben Stokes whereas Stokes chose the right answer which was the man himself!
The incident took place in 2017 during the T20 series against West Indies. The injury forced Stokes to be ruled out of the 2014 World T20 and was replaced by Chris Woakes.
There few other questions which the cricketer faced. It was Stokes who gave the most number of correct answers while Rahane wasn’t that great. MS Dhoni was in fun mood and tried answering all.
But, the best part of the quiz was a funny revelation. Eventually, it turned out that Ashok Dinda was the team’s favourite person. MS Dhoni, in fact, had a special liking for him.
Dhoni chose the Bengal fast bowler’s name when he was asked whether whom he would choose if he had to split 1 million dollars. Dhoni also had the option of leaving the prize money but he chose Dinda as the beneficiary.
“Why do I need to share it? If I am supposed to share it then… Ashok Dinda. He will keep me entertained also”
The quiz also helped the fans know more about the team bonding. Rahane also seemed to be quite aware of Dinda’s antics. When asked whom he would suspect is a plate of Biryani goes missing from the table, Rahane quick reply was – Ashok Dinda.
He was also the most untrusted figure in the team as all three cricketers popped Dinda’s cut outs when asked about the person who was worst when it came to keeping secrets.
It surely seems that the Dinda is the man whom everyone likes in the team. He might seem like an angry fast bowler on the field but he definitely seems like a fun personality off the field when chilling out with teams mates.
