The discarded Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and the current spearhead of Indian spin team R Ashwin have settled the online spat between today. For past few days, Ashwin has faced criticism not just from his critics but also from the most experienced active cricketer, Harbhajan Singh who alleged him of taking undue advantage from the pitch and also added that performances on these pitches are of no worth.
Whilst all this, Ashwin was tumbling few records and meanwhile became the fastest India bowler to scalp 200 wickets in Test cricket. He continued his great form and finished the New Zealand series with 27 wickets in 3 Test matches. He shattered many old records and tore apart the history books but Bhajji was not convinced.
There was some weight in Harbhajan’s tweet as we saw Ashwin struggling in the second Test match where the pitch was in favor of pacers rather tan spinners and then came the third Test match. The Holkar Stadium of Indore hosted its first ever Test match, the pitch was turning square and it was a nightmare for Kiwis as Ashwin finished with figures of 13/140. ‘Sheer dominance’ which one could say after watching these figures. After looking at Ashwin’s performance in the game, it looked like really Bhajji is talking correct as Ashwin could just take 5 wickets in second Test match whereas ended with 13 in the last Game.
Everyone expected a comment from Bhajji on this again but this time, he decided not to light any new issue.
Ashwin somewhere in the back of his mind was also aware of everything happening on twitter as he is one of the active cricketers who bashes the troll party on twitter.
Even before anyone could come up with a new revelation , Ashwin decided to settle the things with Bhajji and tweeted
@harbhajan_singh has been an inspiration nd I started bowling off spin only after seeing the 2001 series. This banter going on is unhealthy

Ashwin, being the junior did the right thing to make first attempt to convince his senior. Bhajji replied to comment in a polite way and through this both settled the cold war between themselves.
Dear got nothing against you. For some reasons my words are misconstrued. Wish you nothing but the best ✌️ Keep the flag high! God bless ? https://t.co/flIqJYDT4y

Surely, Ashwin did the right thing to take the first step as ego clashes can sometimes turn uguly, but Ashwin, who is a well educate person took the first step and this ended cold war between them.
India still has 10 Test matches to play and we may see Ashwin breaking many more records, including that of Harbhajan Singh.
