Asia Cup 2018: India Should Not Get Intimidated by Pakistan: Sourav Ganguly
Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly feels Pakistan can’t intimidate India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2018 at the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Meanwhile, India will start their campaign against Hong Kong on September 18. On the very next day, they will square off against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium. However, Sourav Ganguly believes Pakistan will not be a tough nut to crack for Rohit Sharma & Co. Moreover, Ganguly also mentioned that they need to play well to lift the trophy. IND VS PAK Twitter
“Yes, Pakistan plays well there. But India shouldn’t get intimidated. They should still do well. Conditions there are more or less same as that of the subcontinent. Besides, India are a good ODI team,” Ganguly said.
“They are a fine team and have a very good chance of winning the tournament. But all said and done, they need to play well,” he added.

Speaking at the Eden Gardens, the former cricketer admitted that Indian Cricket team are the favourites to put a hand on the coveted trophy. He also lauded Rohit Sharma, who has an eye-catching statistics as a leader.
“India are a good side. They will do well in the Asia Cup. India could not do that well in England but in limited overs, they are a top side. Rohit Sharma has a very good record as captain so I expect him to do well too,” Ganguly added.
Sourav Ganguly signed off by saying that the team is always stronger with Kohli in the mix, but without the talismanic right-hander also, the men in blue have every chance of winning the competition.
