After running Pakistan and Bangladesh close in their Super Four matches so far, Afghanistan will aim to finish the job against India and end their Asia Cup 2018 campaign on a high.
Meanwhile, the men in blues have so far dominated the tournament except for the Hong Kong match. They have played some quality cricket throughout with both their batting and bowling coming good.
However, it’s been a while since India have played Afghanistan in a limited-overs game. Their last meeting was also at an Asia Cup, in 2014. India won on that occasion, by eight wickets, in a complete mismatch, but that will hardly be the case this time around, though they will come up against a mostly similar batting line-up.
India have already made the final and will look to test their bench strength ahead of the finals. But for their opponents, this game, much like the rest of the tournament, will be about pushing their limits and getting one step closer to knowing how to finish matches in big tournaments.

But, Afghanistan will be desperate to join all the dots and finish their Asia Cup campaign on a high beating Rohit Sharma-led team India.
Weather Forecast
The Dubai heat is on like it has been for most of the tournament and it will be a test of physical strength for both sides. The average temperature is likely to be around 37 degrees Celsius, and there are no chances of rain.
This will be Afghanistan’s first match in Dubai this tournament, but they won’t be greeted with conditions that will be too different from Abu Dhabi, both regarding temperature and the surface.
Afghanistan will be keen to give India some tough time before leaving this Asia Cup.
