Asia Cup 2018: Virender Sehwag Ignites Fire ahead of the Marquee Clash

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag ignites fire ahead of the India and Pakistan clash in the ongoing Asia Cup Group A game at Dubai.
Meanwhile, both teams are coming on the back of a win against the minnows Hong Kong. While Pakistan had an easy win, India had to fight hard to open their campaign with a win. The India-Pakistan rivalry is old, and the sub-plots are always fascinating. The two teams are coming up against each other in the UAE – the neutral venue where they have played the most against each other – after 12 long years.
The last time this two sides met in Champions Trophy in 20117, Pakistan beat India to lift the trophy. However, Sarfraz Ahmed said that the previous meeting doesn’t have any bearing on the one coming up.
The men in blues will go into this game with a lot of concerns after their last night clash against Hong Kong. The Indian middle-order is still unconvincing, Bhuvneshwar Kumar went wicketless, and for the majority of the Hong Kong chase, it appeared like they’d pull off an upset against India. They eventually didn’t, but a thoroughly tested India might be there for the taking.
Virender Sehwag set the stage on fire
However, ahead of the epic clash, Virender Sehwag has set the stage on fire with his comments on Break The Beard Challenge. Cricketers from both sides of the border revamped their beard to sport a new look.
The likes of Shoaib Malik, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Mohammad Amir have shaved their beard. Sehwag, meanwhile, took a sarcastic dig stating that India is the champion even in this challenge.
“Koi Biwi ke liye kar raha hai , koi garmi ki vajah se, iss
#INDvsPAK ke#BreakTheBeard mukaabley mein bhi India hi Champions hai,” the tweet read.
