I Think That Combination Works Well – Shubman Gill On Contrasting Batting Styles
Shubman Gill feels that Rohit Sharma has a contrasting style in batting to that of him in white-ball cricket, as the Indian captain looks to go aerial in the powerplay while he tends to find the gaps to score the boundaries in the initial phase of his innings.
“I think because his (Rohit’s) targeted areas are a bit different (to mine). He loves to go aerial in the Powerplay,” Gill asserted.

“And I’m someone who likes to find the gaps and keep getting those boundaries, and he’s someone who likes to hit sixes. So I think that combination works well,” Shubman Gill further added.
