Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant made a surprising visit to India’s preparatory camp in Alur, Bangalore, where the entire contingent of the Indian squad preparing hard to get themselves ready for the continental event in Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma-led side is looking to tick all their boxes going to the first game against the arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2.
Rishabh Pant, who is recovering from an injury following a horrific car accident, visited the preparatory camp to oversee his teammates preparing for the continental event in Sri Lanka. The 25-year-old missed out on a lot of India’s cricket matches and has been rehabilitating and receiving treatment at the NCA in Bengaluru.

In a video shared by Star Sports, Rishabh Pant was seen interacting with the Indian teammates and support staff in the camp. Earlier during India’s squad announcement for the Asia Cup 2023, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma revealed that Rishabh Pant will be a huge miss for the Men in Blue in forthcoming months and provided the update that he is not fit enough to be part of the team until the ODI World Cup.
Rishabh Pant established himself as an indispensable member of the Indian team in all three formats. The wicketkeeper-batter has taken the world by storm with his exploits since his debut for India.
The Left-handed wicket-keeper has grown up in the ranks since his debut for the Indian team, especially in the longer format of games scoring centuries in Australia, England, and South Africa making a name for himself in red-ball cricket and he has also shown some glimpses of potential in white ball cricket and would be vital player for India on his return to the team.
