India have earned a hard-fought victory at Sydney defeating Australia by six wickets. With the series Australia have already on by 4-0 India have nothing to lose other than slipping from the current position of No. 2 in ICC ranking. But, Rohit Sharma’s 99 and Manish Pandey’s unbeaten 104 off 81 balls helped India to avoid a whitewash. With India’s victory, Australias have lost an ODI where their two batsmen scored a hundred in a match for the fourth time. And three times against India. Throughout the series more than 3000 runs scored by both India and Australia. While Australian bowlers battered by India bowlers but managed to bounce back when required Indian bowlers especially Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav have been proved men of no effect.
As the World T20 just two months way India should replace this bowling attack with bowlers who are performing well in domestic cricket.

Here are the five bowlers who should be in the team

Irfan Pathan

This 2007 World T20 hero has performed outstandingly in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He captained Baroda and performed with both bat and ball. He is leading wicket taker of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Throughout the tournament, he took 17 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 15.76. When current set up of bowling has failed to perform. Indian selectors should consider Pathan’s name for the Asia Cup and World T20.

Rudra Pratap Singh

This Gujarat bowler also performed well in the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournaments. He took 14 wickets in 9 matches at an average of 15.78. With Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar have lost their sharpness this hero of World T20 in 2007 must be selected for the for the World T20 2016 at home. He could be more instrumental than Umesh Yadav.

Jasprit Bumrah

On his debut, he impressed everyone. His unusual bowling action troubled Australian batsmen. This 22-year-old bloke got the good line and length. He got two wickets in the match and conceded 40 runs. He replaced Mohammad Shami, who was ruled out from the series due to a hamstring injury. Bumrah has an outstanding performance in his back. He took 14 wickets in nine matches at a bowling average of 15.42. His performance will be closely scrutinized in the three-match T20 series. If he produces some good performance, selectors must consider his name for the Sri Lanka series at home and Asia Cup that will give the boy a good exposure to international cricket before the World T20.

Ashish Nehra

He is old. But he knows the basic of bowling. In IPL at Indian conditions his bowling for suspended Chennai Super Kings helped a lot. He did not concede many runs. He uses popping crease better than any other bowler. He took 22 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 20.40. His 4 wickets for 10 run was the best bowling figure of the tournament.

His IPL performance was impressive, as a result, he was recalled for the three-match T20 series in Australia.

Dhawal Kulkarni

He played only eight matches for India. His performances were okay, but not outstanding in performing the at a higher level of international cricket. In Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament he has taken 15 wickets in eight matches which are the second height in the tournament. He should also get a chance in the tournament when India’s current bowling attack failed to impress.
