  1. Martin Guptill:

Guptill has been around for quite a while in the Kiwi setup and has taken over the position of a senior batsman. The right-handed batsman had a good series in India, where he was named the Man of the Match in the fourth ODI at Ranchi, which New Zealand won. With Mitchell Starc back in the fray for Australia, the onus will be upon Guptill to counter the pacer early on. His start at the top will pretty much lay a foundation for the visitors to build upon.
