Steven Smith as a captain is pretty unlike an Australian. All his predecessors have had a touch of dominance and authority attached with their captaincy regimes. Smith, on the other hand, has been all at sea when things aren’t going his way. He even fails to stimulate his troops and when the going gets tough, there is no sign of positivity from the Sydney lad. On the other hand, David Warner has already been considered for captaincy and a loss at Adelaide could mean the removal of Smith from his leadership duties.
