Australia have named an unchanged squad for the three-match home series against New Zealand that takes place next month. The home team hasn’t named the T20I squad but the inclusion of regulars for ODIs means that they will also play the T20Is, hence missing a couple of IPL matches as the limited-overs series ends on March 29.

Captain Aaron Finch and David Warner will kick off the proceedings with the bat and will be followed by Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne. Alex Carey, Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Wade have also retained their spots.
Wade has played two T20Is on the South Africa tour so far and is also expected to make his comeback into playing XI in ODIs later this week.
D’Arcy Short, who replaced Sean Abbott for India ODIs, has retained his spot as well. He was dropped from the limited-overs team for South Africa tour but was called up as Glenn Maxwell’s replacement, who isn’t fit yet. He isn’t expected to be part of T20I series as well and is only expected to be available for his IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab after a couple of matches.
Meanwhile, the Aussie selectors added Jhye Richardson into the ODI squad for South Africa series. He was only a part of T20Is earlier but will continue to remain in SA. His inclusion means that the visiting team will be rotating pacers in the ODI series. Richardson is yet to play a game on the tour and is unlikely to be part of playing XI in the third T20I.
