Australia Tests to start from February 23

The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) today, announced the schedule for Australia tour India. The month-long four-match Test series will be kick off on February 23 and will last until March 29.
The first Test match of the series will be played at M.C.A. stadium, Pune which will be hosting its first ever Test match. Both the teams will then travel to the southern part of the country to participate in the second game of the series at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The third and fourth Test match will see the first time hosts as the Test matches will be played at JSCA International stadium and H.P.C.A. stadium respectively.
This Test series will mark the end of the long home season for Indian cricket team which still has 10 test matches and 9 limited overs games remaining in the series.
The Australian team will look turn their fortunes as they were crushed by Indian team last time when they visited the country for the Border-Gavaskar trophy. The Australian team was whitewashed by and lost the series by a margin of 0-4. The tour was marred by controversy as four of the Australian players namely Shane Wason (VC), Usman Khawaja, Mitchell Johnson and James Pattinson were suspended as they failed to complete the written task given by their then coach Mickey Arthur. Later, Clarke said that he has no regrets over this issue.
The Australian team will have look to turn the table in subcontinent conditions as they recently were recently whitewashed by Sri Lanka in Test series by a margin of 0-3.
