One can never take concerns out from an Analyst’s mind. The latest one to express his uncertainty is the cricketer-turned-commentator, Aakash Chopra, who is pretty much confused over team India’s batting lineup for the first T20I at The Gabba, Brisbane. Meanwhile, he wants Virat Kohli to bat at the top of the order.

However, the visiting side announced their 12-man squad for the first T20I against Australia, which begins on Wednesday. They left out Manish Pandey to make way for the regular skipper, Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya also finds a place on the list.

Where Does KL Rahul Bat? questions Aakash Chopra

Team India came up with their regular openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. And then, named Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, which is going to be suspense until the game gets underway.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been exceptional in the recent past at the top of the order. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has always been a prime scorer for team India at number three slot. In that case, it would be interesting to see how the team management copes up with that.

Meanwhile, the commentator, Aakash Chopra quoted he wouldn’t be impressed if India opts Virat Kohli to bat at number four. Further, he also spoke on picking KL Rahul over Manish Pandey.

Digging into his tweet, it read ”Team had chosen Rahul over Pandey. Can understand why. But where does Rahul bat? I wouldn’t want to put Kohli at 4. Would you?”

All in all, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out. Most probably, KL Rahul will bat at number three slot just like he did it in England and mind you; he got a century against Englishmen at that slot.
