Somewhere in search of a team balance, the Indian team lost their top-class fielders in the side, especially, in the T20 format of the game. Team India has left out Suresh Raina in the shorter format and rested Ravindra Jadeja as well. Despite having Manish Pandey in the ranks, he has been benched, as Pandey wasn’t up to the mark with his willow.

Digging into Harsha Bhogle’s tweet, it read ”With Raina not around, Manish Pandey not in the 11, Rahane not picked and Jadeja in and out, India’s fielding isn’t as sharp.”

Coming to the game at MCG, team India has once again won the toss and asked the home side to bat first. This time, Bhuvneshwar struck the wicket right in his first over by sending back Aaron Finch for a golden duck.

Unlike Brisbane, India gave the new ball to Khaleel Ahmed by asking Jasprit Bumrah stay for a later part. The move certainly worked out brilliantly for the team, as Khaleel sent Chris Lynn and D’Arcy Short in quick succession.

The stunning display of fast bowling certainly helped team India to take the honours in powerplay overs. It once again came down to Stoinis-Maxwell duo in the middle, but Bumrah sent back Stoinis for a cheap score.
