Australia vs India 2018: Watch – Khaleel Ahmed Outfoxes D’Arcy Short
Khaleel Ahmed wouldn’t have asked for a better start to his Australian tour. Right on his first ball on the Australian soil, he knocked out the opener, D’Arcy Short to give the first breakthrough for team India in Brisbane. It was a massive wicket, as Short was just coming into his zone.
As it happened:
It was in the 5th over of the game when Virat Kohli asked Khaleel Ahmed to deliver his first over. Khaleel was right on the money who managed to bowl overpitched by taking the ball away.

D’Arcy Short, who was trying hard to push the scorecard went after him to smash it over the long-on region. But, unfortunately, all he managed was to lob the ball up in the air, where Kuldeep Yadav grabbed a brilliant catch.
Initially, team India left out Yuzvendra Chahal in the already announced 12-man squad for the first T20I. On the other hand, Australia brought the leg-spinner Adam Zampa in the side by replacing Nathan Coulter-Nile.
”We haven’t had much of time here, so we would like to see how the pitch behaves. We want to figure out in what areas we need to score as well. The preparation has been chilled out because for the Tests you need a lot more time, and you need to be in the nets. But come game time, you need to be switched on. Both teams know the strengths and weaknesses of each other. It’s going to be competitive,” Virat Kohli said at the time of toss.
